Justice Awakening Conference

How can we as the Church put an end to Human Trafficking?

This will be the topic of discussion at the Justice Awakening Conference: How You and Your Church Can Help End Human Trafficking. The realities of modern-day slavery can seem daunting, and sometimes it can feel like we should leave it to the professionals. But fighting for justice is not something we have to outsource to others. Every Christian and every church has a part to play. Discover what you can do to be part of the solution. And join God’s movement of freedom and justice for ALL.

This education and awareness event will feature a presentation from Natasha Sistrunk Robinson from AbotlitionNC, representatives from the International Justice Mission, and a roundtable of local pastors discussion how our faith community can help end Human Trafficking.

Much of the discussion will surround the book Justice Awakening by Eddie Byun.  If you are planning on attending this event (or even if you’re not), considering reading this book.

The event is free, but please register to give them a good idea about numbers and to be eligible for door prizes.  You can register at EventBrite or AbolitionNC.org.
